TradeBeam Named to Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies List of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners

Global Trade Management Leader Recognized for Customer Service and Overall Supply Chain Performance

San Mateo, CA, July 26, 2005—TradeBeam, the leading provider of Global Trade Management (GTM) software and services, today announced that it has been selected as one of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies magazine’s “100 Great Supply Chain Partners” in its annual listing of the supply chain industry’s vendors.

The list was developed based on a six-month poll, in which the publication asked logistics and supply chain professionals to nominate leading-edge supply chain solution providers whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. This year’s poll drew more than 2,000 nominations from both small and large companies covering scores of different industries across five continents. More than 450 vendors of every type of supply chain activity were nominated—from very specialized technology providers, to global third-party logistics providers and highly specialized transportation services providers. The 100 companies that received the most qualified nominations were selected to this year’s list.

“We congratulate TradeBeam for being named to the 2005 list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners,” said Brad Berger, publisher of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies. “The purpose of the award is to acknowledge the solution providers who have helped our readers improve their supply chain operations and to share their best practices with the rest of the industry so they can learn from their experiences.”

Through commentaries that accompanied many of this year’s ballots, Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies confirmed that the most common qualities that users looked for in their vendors were value and cost savings, reliability, exceptional performance, expertise and knowledge base, problem-solving ability, continuous improvement, support, positive culture, global capabilities and comprehensive service.

The nomination cited TradeBeam’s ability to help a leading national retailer obtain visibility into all portions of its import operation while ensuring compliance with increasingly dynamic import compliance regulations, which, ultimately, helped the company significantly expedite its imports. In addition, TradeBeam’s import solution provided the retailer with visibility into its order status, shipment and settlement events that occur throughout the company’s global supply chain, while reducing its costs and ensuring effective trade compliance.

“We are pleased to be selected by our customers as one of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies’ 100 Great Supply Chain Partners,” said Duncan Jackson, vice president of Marketing and Business Development for TradeBeam. “We believe it is a tribute to our ability to provide our customers with on-demand applications for managing the lifecycle of a trade across domestic and international order, logistics, and settlement activities to help them improve their operating efficiencies and working capital.”

The complete listing of the 2005 100 Great Supply Chain Partners and accompanying editorial can be found in the July issue of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies or the magazine’s Web site.
